Mr. Prabin Prakash Chhetri represents the Board of Directors as the independent professional director. He started his career with Standard Chartered Bank (erstwhile Nepal Grindlays Bank Ltd.) in August 1987 and worked for the bank for 15 years as Head of Information Technology. He moved to NABIL Bank Ltd as Senior Manager Information Technology and served the bank for 5 years. Then he moved to Bank of Kathmandu Ltd and held the position of Chief Operating Officer(COO) managing the bank’s operations and information technology for close to 10 years. He also worked as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Nepal Electronics Payment System (NEPS) and lastly as a consulting resource for business transformation in a tech company. In his career in various organizations, he developed various application software for banks, involved in information technology (IT) transformation projects, played lead roles in managing operations and IT units and extensively involved in formulating strategic directions for operational transformations, control and risk management.
